The Greater Southern New Silicon Valley Promotion Plan is transforming Shalun, Tainan into a hub for AI, quantum computing, smart healthcare, net-zero green energy, cybersecurity, and other advanced technologies. It accelerates the growth of renewable energy, compound semiconductors, unmanned vehicles, and AI-driven innovations. By promoting R&D and expanding applications nationwide, the plan fosters balanced industrial growth and improves quality of life.
Integrating central and local governments, ministries, academia, and industry, it strengthens Taiwan’s AI capabilities from R&D to system development, advancing the vision of a “Balanced Taiwan,” “Resilient Taiwan,” and “Healthy Taiwan.”
